Qualitek Services has an immediate 12 month+ contract opening for a
Software Quality Engineer in Sunnyvale, California (CA)
***Occasional overtime may be requested***
* Create test documentation for ADC and H-Class Broadcast products.
* Perform testing of the ADC and H-Class Broadcast products.
* Document the test results of ADC and H-Class Broadcast products.
* Document Defects found while testing ADC and H-Class Broadcast products.
* Assist Engineering with evaluating, and reproducing, Customer issues.
* Communicate directly with Development Engineers on the status of fixes, and enhancements for, ADC and H-Class Broadcast products.
Pay Rate: $37.50/hr MAX DOE |

Skills:
|
****Must be a US Citizen****
Candidate must have a Bachelors Degree; preferably in Computer Science, IT, or Broadcasting and at least 3 years of previous work experience.
Qualifications:
? 5 years of Broadcast experience, preferably in MCR and Production.
? 2 years experience with the Rational Suite of software tools.
? Working knowledge of Windows 2000, XP, Vista and Microsoft Office products.
? Basic Networking skills.
? Experienced in Broadcasting, preferably having MCR and Production experience.
? Knowledgeable of QA processes and procedures.
? Familiar with the Rational Suite of software tools.
? Experienced with Broadcast equipment including Video Disks, Master Control Switchers, Routers, VTRs, etc.
Preferred Additional Skills:
* Self motivated, having the ability to be productive, sometimes with little or no supervision.
* Have the ability to communicate and work within a small team.
* Able to multitask, with the ability to manage several projects concurrently.
* Flexible, being able to change tasks easily
